As a dedicated and high-achieving student of mathematics, I aim to make each lesson both effective and engaging. I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE Maths and am currently predicted an A* in A-Level Maths and an A in Further Maths. Also received a grade 9 for Physics for GCSE and am predicted an A* for A-Level Physics. This strong academic foundation allows me to confidently support students through the challenges of both GCSE and A-Level content.
My lessons are structured yet flexible, always tailored to the individual needs of each student. I begin by identifying key areas of weakness or confusion, using short diagnostic questions or a quick chat about current school topics. From there, I break down complex concepts into clear, understandable steps, using real exam questions wherever possible to build confidence and familiarity with assessment styles.
Beyond simply working through the syllabus, I aim to help students develop a deeper appreciation of maths and feel more confident in their ability to tackle problems independently. I understand what it’s like to be in their shoes, and my teaching style is friendly, supportive, and patient. Whether a student is aiming for a top grade or looking to boost their confidence, I adapt my teaching to help them achieve their personal goals.
