Alana Smit

I am a student studying Politics and International Relations at the University of Bristol. I teach English Literature, English Language, History and Politics to GCSE and A Level pupils. The first lesson is about getting to know you and your personal needs/goals. Following this, I will devise individual lesson plans that could include exam technqiue, active recall, grasping difficult concepts and developing essay writing. I am a friendly and responsive tutor with a strong academic track record. Outside of this, I am a climbing instructor with experience in teaching children and adults. I have learnt to adapt quickly to individual needs and built a strong rapport with my students, who have returned time and time again.
