I will use the way I have been taught psychology from my teachers whilst adding my own twists for more collaboration with the student. This involves extra activities such as watching video clips of case studies, but also providing exam questions that are done with guidance, then independently. Using mark schemes I have access to, an my A* knowledge (that I can provide proof of) I will be able to give recommendations and assess work objectively. Part of being a good student is not only about knowledge but having a good mindset, so I will ensure anyone who is assigned to me has a source of support, this will include me discussing aims for the future and being able to listen to problems you have. From my experience giving presentations in the past, I feel expressing key concepts tailored to the audience involves condensing notes down, to the point where anyone, even those who aren’t in education, can understand the concepts I explain. This involves breaking down every specialist terminology I use to ensure full understanding of my presentation whilst providing holistic knowledge about A-level psychology (A wide understanding). This opportunity will also benifit me, as it is a fun way to revise content that I have dismissed due to topics I am focused on now. I am a year 13 student who has received multiple A/A* who wants to present to year 12 who are struggling with concepts, or want a different perspective on how to approach questions such as 16 markers.
