Good morning students My name is Mrs Akorede Adeyeba-Alimi, you can just call me Mrs Akorede and I am your mathematics teacher here, today I will talking to you about mathematics. At the heart of my teaching philosophy is the believe that mathematics can be fun and engaging for everyone. To achieve this, I use a variety of methods to help students understand mathematical concept, including games and puzzles to make mathematics fun and challenging. Also collaborative learning to encourage each other and learn from each other. I aim to let you all understand that mathematics is not just a subject to be memorized, but a subject that can be understood and enjoyed.
I have been teaching mathematics to primary school students for 4 years, and in that time, I've had many successes and achievements. I've helped students who were struggling with mathematics to improve their grades and develop a greater understanding and appreciation for the subject.
As a math teacher, I believe that some of my most important qualities include; Patience: I understand that mathematics can be a challenging subject, and I'm willing to work with students until they understand a concept. Enthusiasm: I'm passionate about mathematics and I try to convey that enthusiasm to my students. Creativity: I'm always looking for new and innovative ways to teach mathematics and keep my students engaged.
