Aisling Carr

My name is Aisling and I am currently studying to become a primary school teacher with Irish. I have a passion for the Irish language and helping others gain confidence in using it. I offer friendly, supportive, and personalised lessons tailored to each student's individual needs, goals, and learning style.

I have experience teaching adult beginners both in person and online, with a particular focus on developing spoken Irish through conversation, language use, and building confidence. I have also taught intensive Irish courses covering grammar, saibhreas, and seanfhocail, helping learners deepen their understanding of the language and improve their fluency.

Alongside group teaching, I have provided private online tuition, working one-to-one with students on pronunciation, conversational skills and general language development. My lessons are adapted to each learner's pace, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported while making steady progress.

Having worked in the Gaeltacht, I have first-hand experience of using Irish in everyday life and can help students develop natural, authentic language skills. I also achieved an A* in GCSE Irish and an A at A-Level Irish, giving me a strong understanding of the curriculum and the requirements for students preparing for examinations.
