I have a structure of teaching for every subject with topic lists. For Primary English I start of with a spelling test that's all prepared for a year and a child practises them for homework. After spellings they do SPAG then comprehension in the last half an hour of the lesson. For maths they start of with arithmetic questions that are also prepared beforehand and then have a topic list which followed strictly. After they complete a certain amount of topics they are assessed. GCSE work is all structured based on what they are doing in school and also my own topic list.
