I am a qualified doctor and Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), and I have also worked as an assessor on healthcare interview panels. Before applying to medical school, I worked as a private tutor teaching Maths, English and Science from KS1 to GCSE level. My students were taught in line with their school curriculum, and I supported them by working through their homework with them, ensuring they felt confident with both the basic foundations and the more advanced principles. I genuinely loved working with my students and it has been incredibly rewarding to see them grow in confidence, make progress over the years, and go on to apply for university themselves. I am very confident that I can help you achieve your very best and develop the skills you need to feel capable and confident in these subjects. My hours are flexible and I am always happy to be contacted if you need support with homework or have any questions. I also provide carefully selected resources that you can use in your own time to help consolidate your learning and develop the skills needed to become an independent, lifelong learner, while still knowing that I’m always here to support you when you need it. In addition, I have supported students preparing for medical school interviews, helped medical students with their coursework, and guided applicants through personal statement writing and interview preparation.
