I’m 15 years old and currently studying Higher GCSE Maths, with Maths being one of my strongest subjects. As I am currently completing my GCSEs myself, I have a strong understanding of the current course content, exam-style questions and the areas students may find challenging.

My lessons are structured, supportive and fully adapted to each student’s individual ability, pace and goals. I understand that every student learns differently, so I will take the time to explain topics clearly and revisit areas when needed rather than rushing through them. Equally, if a student is confident with a topic, we can move forward and focus on more challenging questions to help them reach their full potential.

I will identify the areas where the student needs the most improvement and build lessons around these, using clear explanations, worked examples and practice questions. For GCSE students, I can also focus on exam-style questions, problem-solving, past-paper practice and exam technique.

My aim is not only to help students understand Maths, but to build their confidence and help them achieve the best grades possible. I will work at a pace that suits the student while gradually challenging them to improve and reach their full potential.
I also aim to make lessons engaging and approachable, so students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process. I will provide encouragement throughout each lesson and help students recognise their progress, while maintaining a clear focus on improving their knowledge, skills and results and confidence.
