My lessons will be tailored to suit your goals, pace, and learning style. If for example you are struggling with a certain topic in GCSE or A Level, I will first identify where exactly that weakness lies, examine what your understanding of the concept is, then move onto explaining which bits of your understanding, if any, are not exactly fully correct and fill in any missing gaps in knowledge, before going into some exam style questions and seeing how you do in those, giving advice and help where you need it. My goal is to make sure you really understand topics and actually start to enjoy them if you do not already, making securing an A* fairly trivial, whilst also building a passion for mathematics.

As another example, if your goal is preparing for university interviews and/or entrance exams, then a different format will be followed, where I will be conducting mock interviews with you for your subject as well as giving general and specific tips for how to do well. For entrance exams I will be revealing some tricks and how you can make use of them to achieve an outstanding performance, as well as discussing some general strategies and specific topics, and obviously getting you to do questions to spot your weaknesses and work on improving them.

For whatever goal you want to achieve, if you are at any point unsatisfied with your experience make sure to let me know, so that I can adjust the dynamics of the lessons.

Wherever possible, in-person lessons would be preferred as I believe my quality of delivery is quite a bit better in-person. However if online suits you best, I will be utilising some form of online whiteboard (e.g. Miro) over an audio (or video if you prefer) call in order to do my best to give an in-person experience.
