I have experience teaching primary, GCSE and A level students one-to-one but also in large groups of 4-5 students as well.

Primary students will explore reading, writing and grammar.

The methods I use for primary students will vary depending on their stage of learning. However I will promote students to read different types of text, books, articles and journals. Teach them to form grammatically correct sentences. Help them to write in different forms such as in a newspaper, diary, book etc.

For GCSE and A level students: The contents I cover are based on the curriculum from all exam boards such as Aqa, Edexcel, OCR.

GCSE students will be aided with their English Literature and English Language studies by testing their knowledge and understanding of the modern text drama such as Frankenstein, Shakespearean plays, modern text prose. As for English Language I will help students acquire a wide range of vocabulary and apply this alongside knowledge and understanding of grammatical terminology, linguistic conventions for reading and writing spoke languages.

The methods used for GCSE students will be similar for A level students as well.

My teaching method is tailored to each individual student.
My teaching methods includes the following: reading wide range of texts, going through and reading the contents together to check for knowledge and understanding. Testing knowledge of understanding of the texts. Practice writing and communication as well as past exam papers.
