My lessons are structured, engaging, and focused on helping students make measurable progress. At the start, I assess the student’s current level to identify strengths and gaps in understanding. From there, I create a clear lesson plan so each session has direction and purpose. I break down complex topics into manageable steps, making sure the core concepts are fully understood before moving on to exam application.

A key focus in my teaching is exam technique. I regularly use past paper questions, mark schemes, and examiner reports to show students exactly what is required to achieve top marks. We work on interpreting command words, structuring longer answers, improving calculation accuracy, and avoiding common mistakes. I also incorporate timed practice when appropriate, helping students build confidence under exam conditions.

Lessons are interactive rather than lecture-based. I encourage students to explain concepts back to me, solve problems step-by-step, and ask questions freely. This builds both confidence and deeper understanding. I teach GCSE and A-Level Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and with over 3 years of tutoring experience, I’ve supported students aiming to pass as well as those targeting A and A* grades.
