I want to be able to help kids to understand and comprehend maths as that can be quite tricky at times. I taught maths to my younger cousins and have tutored kids privately so I am quite experienced in helping kids understand and comprehend maths. I like letting the students be more talkative and interactive as that eases the pressure and helps them be at a calm mind while trying to solve something they find tricky. I explain how to solve a problem and then give me some examples which they can then do and if they don’t understand we go over it until they understand and they can ask me as many questions as they want in order for them to get to the final answer. Also after every 4 weeks I like to give me a mini test to see if they understood the lessons so far and see where they may be weaker at, this allows be to understand their strengths and weaknesses and where we can improve and how. It also allows me to ask the students why they found it tricky and in which way we can then solve it to get the right answer.
