I want to teach because I think not all students can learn at the same pace, and a typical school doesn't do enough to match the learning speed of every student. I enjoy expressing concepts I've learnt as simpler ideas that can be more widely understood than textbook explanations, and I find fulfilment in helping others understand a subject to a degree beyond just scraping past exams.

I've tutored ~20 A level students in the past. I have found that the most effective strategy is to focus on understanding concepts through examples and practice questions. I also do discussions on strategies to improve speed of problem solving. A typical lesson would last about 1 hour but can be tailored to match the student's needs. The lessons are tailored towards both students who want to practise basic concepts as well as those who want to perfect their problem solving.
