My experience- I have always loved Mathematics in high school and have also been taught by a tutor. I understand that it doesn't sit well with everyone and requires patience to do well. I would love to instil the same enthusiasm that I have for it. I believe everyone has their own strong suit it may lie in trigonometry or probability.
Lesson structure- I would start with the weakest topics using thorough notes and providing a formulae sheet. Using flash cards for basic concepts seems like a good start and assigning tasks for self-study. I would record our sessions to be used as a further reference and lean on past papers to provide a thorough understanding. Outside of the session, I am also always available to answer any doubts or queries. My main areas of focus would be Trigonometry, Probability, Arithmetics and Graphs depending on the year of study.
I look forward to giving everyone the chance to excel and develop an understanding of the subject.
