Lesson Structure
I usually start with a quick chat about what you'd like to focus on that day, whether that's understanding a tricky concept, preparing for an exam, or working through specific topics. From there, we dive into the content together. I break things down step-by-step, using maps, diagrams, real-world case studies, and interactive visuals to help concepts stick. Rather than me just talking, I encourage questions throughout and regularly check in to make sure things are making sense.
Interactive & Engaging
My year of online teaching has taught me how to make virtual lessons feel dynamic and personal. I use a mix of methods depending on what works best for you, some lessons might involve discussing current events and how geography relates to them, others could be working through exam questions together, annotating maps, or exploring interactive resources. I adapt my approach based on your learning style.
Supportive Environment
There's no such thing as a "stupid question" in my lessons. I know geography can feel overwhelming, so I create a relaxed, judgment-free space where you can ask me to explain things differently if something isn't clicking the first time. I'm patient and genuinely interested in helping you succeed.
Progress & Feedback
After each lesson, I'll recap what we've covered and suggest things you might practice before our next session. I keep track of your progress so we can celebrate improvements and identify areas to focus on next.
