I have worked as an in person tutor, teaching maths, english, physics, and biology at First Class Learning, Dubai for 2 years. I have completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.
My students have ranged from ages 3-14.

My teaching style begins with helping my students strengthen the foundations of their weak subjects/areas, and then steadily work towards improving their skill set to become confident and capable of tackling any topics in their curriculum.

I also help create independent learning plans, tailored to each individual student, so that they are able to practice by themselves when not taking lessons. This keeps the information in the long-term memory, and builds stamina for learning.

I am flexible on timings, and appreciate commitment to my lessons, although I understand that consistency requires interest and enjoyment. This is why I always balance my lessons with engaging activities that teach content, and active recall. I want my students to enjoy the lessons, and simultaneously learn new skills and techniques to improve their academics.

At the end and beginning of each unit, there will be a quiz to determine your current knowledge and record improvement. This will help build confidence and provide me a good framework to begin planning my lessons for you!
