My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to each student’s needs and goals. I typically begin by identifying areas of difficulty through quick assessments or past exam questions, then build a clear plan to strengthen understanding and improve performance.
Each session focuses on explaining key concepts in a simple, step-by-step way before moving into guided practice. I work through examples with the student, encouraging them to explain their thinking so I can address any misconceptions early. We then progress to exam-style questions to develop confidence, accuracy, and effective exam technique.
I place a strong emphasis on problem-solving skills and logical thinking, particularly for A-Level and Further Mathematics students, where deeper understanding is essential. Lessons are engaging and supportive, and I adapt the pace depending on how quickly the student is progressing.
With my background in Chemical Engineering and experience tutoring GCSE, A-Level, and Further Mathematics, I’m familiar with common challenges students face and how to overcome them. I also provide regular feedback and, where helpful, set targeted practice to reinforce learning between sessions.
Overall, my goal is to create a focused but encouraging environment where students feel confident tackling difficult topics and can see clear, measurable improvement.
