I'm Adam, a native English speaker from the UK with over 20 years of experience teaching, training, translating, editing, and proofreading English in international academic and business environments. I've worked with the British Council, the University of Leicester, universities in Italy, and learners from a wide range of professional and cultural backgrounds.

My lessons are student-centred, engaging, and designed around your real communication needs. I follow the principles of Scott Thornbury's DOGME approach, which means lessons are built around meaningful conversation and language that emerges naturally during our interaction, rather than relying solely on coursebooks. This makes learning more relevant, dynamic, and effective.

Whether you're preparing for an exam, improving your professional English, or simply looking to build confidence in speaking, I tailor each lesson to your goals and learning style. I can help you prepare for the full Cambridge English suite of examinations, including KET, PET, FCE, CAE, and CPE, as well as the Business English Certificate (BEC).

Lessons make use of a variety of interactive resources, including digital whiteboards, videos, articles, authentic texts, and discussion materials, ensuring that every session is both productive and enjoyable. Depending on your needs, we can focus on all four key language skills:
