About me

I have taught to children of friends and family on and off for several years, and also tutored at a school in Bristol while I was at university. I have a maths A-Level and tutoring comes naturally to me. When I tutor, I like to see a student try a problem, see where they get stuck and then explain how to do the problem correctly. I have taught to children of friends and family on and off for several years, and also tutored at a school in Bristol while I was at university. I have a maths A-Level and tutoring comes naturally to me. When I tutor, I like to see a student try a problem, see where they get stuck and then explain how to do the problem correctly. We then go through one together on my paper, where I explain step by step what needs to be done. I will then support the student through another question, before letting them try on their own and hopefully they understand and can move forwards with the problem. I am patient and approachable for students, and am capable of explaining and simplifying complicated problems in multiple different ways.
