What to Expect from My Lessons

My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs - no two students are the same, and I make sure to adapt my approach so you get the most out of our time together.

Lesson Format:

We usually start by identifying the topics you’d like to focus on, or areas where you feel less confident. I can also help you work through homework, past papers, or specific questions you’re struggling with.

Each session typically includes:
? a quick warm-up to review previous material
? clear explanations of key concepts
? step-by-step worked examples
? plenty of practice questions, with guidance as you solve them
? exam technique tips to help you maximise marks

I encourage students to ask questions at any time - there are no silly questions! My aim is to create a friendly, supportive environment where you feel comfortable learning and making mistakes as part of the process.

Content:

I cover the full GCSE and A-Level Maths syllabuses, with a focus on:

• Calculus e.g. integration and differentiation.

• Problem solving and drawing diagrams.

• Mechanics and Statistics.

I also help students develop strong exam skills: interpreting questions, structuring answers, and managing time effectively under pressure.

I have a strong academic background in maths and science, having just completed my A-Levels with predicted grades of 3 A*s in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics, and I hold an offer to study a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering at University College London.
