Hi, I’m Adam and I’m a private tutor from Ireland.

I have been tutoring since the end of 2023 and have successfully helped plenty of students achieve better grades and understand those tricky topics they did not get a chance to understand while in school. A bit about me, before I began tutoring I coached junior rowing athletes up to a professional standard, pushing them to win races across Ireland and the UK, I’ve picked up many transferable skills that I bring into tutoring so students who choose me can be assured that I will teach in a way that they understand.

I teach flexibly between online lessons on Zoom and in-person lessons depending on location of course. The format of my lessons often begin with a general discussion at first to establish a baseline of understanding, from there we work on practice questions going back and forth whilst honing in on specifics that might be confusing. In my experience, this method of teaching has worked best in providing a clear understanding to the student.

I like to give my students an ample opportunity to build confidence in their own maths ability throughout the session by continually progressing the difficulty of questions while providing a safety net in case they have questions or get stuck - something that is not always available in school.
