My lessons are highly interactive and tailored to the individual student. I begin by identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas of uncertainty, allowing each session to focus on the topics that will have the greatest impact on progress. Whether a student is preparing for GCSEs, IGCSEs, A-Levels, or simply looking to build confidence, every lesson is structured around clear objectives and measurable outcomes.
A typical lesson combines explanation, guided practice, independent problem-solving, and exam-style questions. Rather than simply teaching students how to answer a specific question, I focus on developing a deep understanding of the underlying concepts. This helps students tackle unfamiliar problems with confidence and improves long-term retention.

As a qualified Mathematics teacher with a degree in Bioengineering, I bring both classroom experience and strong subject knowledge to every lesson. I have taught a wide range of students, from those struggling to secure a pass to those aiming for the highest grades. My experience teaching GCSE and IGCSE Mathematics has allowed me to develop effective strategies for improving performance, exam technique, and confidence under pressure.
I also enjoy showing students how Mathematics connects to the real world and to the Sciences, particularly Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. These links often help students gain a deeper appreciation of the subjects and strengthen their understanding across multiple disciplines.

Above all, I strive to create a positive, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and challenging themselves. Progress comes from understanding, practice, and confidence, and my role is to guide students towards achieving their academic goals while helping them develop independent learning skills that will benefit them far beyond their examinations.
