From a young age, I have had a extraordinary talent for mathematics and was doing better than people older than me at GCSE's. I now take A-Level Mathematics and throughout the year I have obtained nothing lower than a A. I achieved a grade 9 at GCSE level for mathematics and an A* for my UCAS predicted grades.
My passion for my maths stimulates from the idea that each question has definitive answer(s) and wish to to show my passion in educating the younger generation and empowering them through this knowldege. This is something I hold dear to me as I believe kids of today will be the future and I wish to be part of this journey.
Mathematics for me is considered to be a fundamental subject which all individuals need to learn for the real world.
I like to teach the core knowledge of the certain specification for the student and then set certain tasks for them to complete for the next lesson. I then go through the set tasks with them at the start of the next lesson. This is to ensure any gaps in knowledge is not left out and so that the students are confident in that certain topic of maths.
I have had experience teaching as I have taught people significantly younger than me basic maths. I also use to teach and help my peers at secondary school when they needed assistance with a question they did not understand. I was regularly asked by my teacher to show how I obtained my answers to the full class as well.
