I will tailor the lesson to the student's request, at first outlining basic principles, then applying them through relevant examples, and building upon simpler earlier examples as necessary until the whole of the subject has been covered. I will ensure that anything the student does not understand is resolved promptly, and will match the pace of my teaching appropriately. I will not discourage the student with condescension should their understanding not match my expectations. Should the first explanation I give to the student fail, I will choose an explanation suited to the student. Students will receive a learning experience customised for their benefit. As a second-year undergraduate physics student, I have developed a broad understanding of the principles of mathematics and physics, and therefore I believe that young people studying these subjects for A-level or GCSE exams will benefit from my tutoring.
