Hi, I’m Adam, and I’m a native English speaker from the Southwest of England.
I’m a qualified TEFL teacher with a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing, as well as additional training in teaching exam preparation. I’ve spent the last year and a half teaching English at an international language school, working with both teenagers and adults from all over the world.
My teaching style is stress-free, friendly and energetic. I really enjoy helping students build confidence, improve their pronunciation, expand their vocabulary and, most importantly, feel comfortable actually using English. I never want my lessons to feel like a chore. I like to keep students involved through conversation, activities and topics that genuinely interest them, while still giving lessons enough structure to make sure we’re making real progress. If you find traditional English lessons boring or difficult to stay focused in, my lessons may be a good fit. I bring a lot of energy and personality to my teaching and enjoy using fun, practical activities to make learning feel less like a chore and more like something you actively want to participate in.
I’m particularly experienced with intermediate to advanced learners, but I’m happy to work with students at any level. Whether you want to improve your everyday English, prepare for an exam, or simply become more confident speaking, I’ll adapt the lessons to your goals.
If you’re looking for an English teacher who is supportive, enthusiastic and genuinely enjoys helping people learn, I’d love to meet you.
See you in class!
