Having recently completed these qualifications myself, I understand the challenges students face and know what exam boards are looking for.

My lessons are friendly, interactive and tailored to each student’s needs. We usually begin by identifying any gaps in understanding before breaking difficult topics down into simple, manageable steps. I use worked examples, diagrams and targeted questions to help students understand the content rather than simply memorise it. We then apply this knowledge to exam-style questions, focusing on exam technique, key terminology and how to gain every available mark.

I adapt the pace and format of each lesson to the student, whether they need help building confidence, revising specific topics or aiming for the highest grades. I also encourage students to explain concepts back to me, as this helps strengthen their understanding and highlights anything that needs further clarification.

Studying medicine has given me a strong scientific foundation, as well as experience explaining complex ideas clearly and patiently. My goal is to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and steadily improving.
