Hello, and welcome! I’m Abroo, a Mathematics and Physics teacher with over three years of experience teaching secondary school students, university students and international learners online.
I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics from NUST Islamabad and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from IIUI Islamabad.
I teach a wide range of curricula, including the Australian Curriculum, IGCSE, GCSE (Edexcel), FBISE and BISE Rawalpindi. Whether you are building confidence in the basics, catching up on a difficult topic or preparing for important exams, I will adapt the lessons to your level and goals.
My lessons are clear, structured and patient. I start by understanding where you are now, then break each topic into small, manageable steps. We work through examples together, and then you practise with guided questions until you can solve problems on your own. I focus on understanding the “why” behind every method, not just memorising formulas, because this is what leads to lasting confidence and better exam results. I also give regular feedback and exam-style practice so you always know how you are progressing.
I teach online using Zoom, Google Classroom and digital whiteboards, so lessons are interactive and easy to follow, and notes and practice material can be shared after each session. My background in data analytics also helps me explain how maths and statistics are used in the real world, which many students find motivating.
I have worked as a school teacher, a university visiting lecturer and an online tutor, so I understand the different challenges students face at each stage. My aim is to make mathematics approachable and even enjoyable.
