As a teacher of the English language with over five years of experience, I love my class to be very interactive so that everyone could participate in the lesson. My method of teaching is Communicative Language Teaching which enables students to use the English language in real-life situations or contexts.
While teaching, I probe and question my students regarding critical conceptions, ideas, principles and skill sets. I also ensure a friendly and comfortable social circumstance and environment whereby students feel comfortable learning.
I set learning goals and objectives prior to teaching and establish the agenda to ensure these set objectives
are met.
As most of my tutorials are done online, I ensure that the students become comfortable with the ICT by providing technical guidance
by offering study material, guidance, directions and feedback on technical problems while enabling learning among members of the online groups.
Being an external moderator of the English Home Language in a higher institution in South Africa, Stadio University, I'm skilled in assessing examination scripts, summative assessed coursework and other assessed work.
I know the right questions to set for my students to meet the appropriate standards and accurately reflect the syllabus.
