I have experience working with children with a range of educational needs. My lesson format can change to fit the child entirely, but I usually explain the topic with visual aids and presentations, and then work through a given task with the child, either a worksheet, quiz, past exam questions or another activity. We then go through the answers together, and discuss improvements and what to expect at the next session, and any preparation that needs completeing before! I try to keep a rough structure throughout my sessions, to keep the child on track. The lessons will often be lighthearted, as I try to keep learning as a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone!
I am currently studying Psychology at degree level, and have 3 A-Levels, in Psychology, Biology and English Language. I have a passion for sharing knowledge and helping others achieve their full potential. I would like to become either a teacher or educational psychologist, so any experience is brilliant!
If possible, students will have access to a printer, but this is not essential. Students will require a pen or pencil, and paper.
