Abigail Mekonnen Asaminew

Hello! My name is Abigail, and I am passionate about helping students build confidence and truly understand science and mathematics. As a former high school natural science student myself, I understand how difficult some concepts can feel at first. During my academic journey, I was among the ranking students, which helped me develop strong study methods and problem-solving skills that I now share with my students. I have also volunteered in different learning sessions, where I gained experience supporting students with different learning styles and academic levels.

I believe that practice is the key to success. In my lessons, I first explain concepts clearly and simply, then guide students through different exercises and questions until they fully understand the topic. I focus on creating a supportive and comfortable learning environment where students feel free to ask questions, make mistakes, and improve step by step. I also help students track their progress, prepare for exams, complete homework, and build confidence in solving problems independently.

I am comfortable teaching both one-to-one and group sessions online using platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet. I always adapt my teaching style to each student’s level and learning pace so lessons remain engaging, interactive, and effective.

I genuinely love teaching and enjoy seeing students improve through consistent effort and practice. My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent grades, but also to help them become confident, motivated, and independent learners who enjoy the learning process. I can't wait to get started!
