I am an aspiring aerospace engineer who is passionate about instilling the same enthusiasm for mathematics and physics as I have in all my students. I have a strong academic background in STEM and a working understanding of how these subjects apply to the real world, and I aim to make each lesson engaging and interesting.
My lesson style can be adapted depending on the student's age and skill level. I usually begin with a brief recap to reinforce prior knowledge before introducing new topics. I use clear, step-by-step explanations and where necessary, I make use of visual aids, analogies, and real-life examples to make more abstract concepts feel tangible. For example, I used my guitar to play different harmonics to help explain standing waves.
My strength is guiding students through harder exam questions. I do so by helping them through worked examples, then support them as they build confidence tackling questions independently. I place a strong emphasis on understanding concepts rather than memorising procedures, as I find that this helps pupils appreciate the subject more and retain knowledge better.
I have experience working with students up to the age of 18, including those preparing for 11+, GCSEs and A-levels. I create a welcoming, encouraging environment where questions are always valued, and progress is celebrated.
Whether your aim is to perform well in exams, explore topics in more depth or simply keep up with schoolwork, I’m here to support your learning. My aim is to make maths and physics not just manageable, but genuinely enjoyable.
