Abdullahi Ali

Hello! My name is Abdullahi, and I am a dedicated and patient Biomedical Engineering student with strong experience in tutoring and teaching. I specialise in Mathematics, supporting students at different levels, from primary school to A-level, and I have successfully helped learners improve their confidence, understanding, and results.

My teaching style is student-centred and adaptable. I begin each lesson by identifying the student’s current level, strengths, and areas for improvement. From there, I design tailored lesson plans that break down complex mathematical concepts into simple, manageable steps. I believe in creating a calm and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.

I use a variety of approaches depending on the student’s learning style. For visual learners, I make use of diagrams, worked examples, and online resources. For others, I focus on step-by-step problem solving and practice questions to build fluency and accuracy. I also set clear goals and track progress regularly, so students and parents can see real improvements over time.

My previous roles as a tutor and teacher have given me experience working with students of different ages and abilities, including those with SEND. This has taught me how important it is to be flexible, patient, and creative in my teaching methods.
