I’m a master's in Biomedical sciences student with prior tutoring experience, including Year 12–13 maths. My lessons are structured, clear, and tailored to each student’s needs, whether that’s building foundations, tackling exam-style questions, or boosting confidence with tricky topics. Sessions typically involve guided explanations, worked examples, and plenty of practice, with an emphasis on understanding why methods work—not just memorising steps. I aim to create a supportive, low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and steadily improving their results. I also focus on developing effective study strategies and exam techniques that students can apply independently. Outside of lessons, I’m happy to provide extra practice questions or clarification to help reinforce learning.

As a recent high-school graduate, I understand the current curriculum and the pressures students face, especially around exams and time management. I adapt my teaching style to suit different learning preferences and pace lessons to ensure concepts are fully understood before moving on. My goal is not only to help students achieve strong grades, but also to build confidence and independence so they feel capable approaching new and challenging problems on their own.
