This English program will help students hone their English-language skills and increase their confidence using the English language in both personal and professional settings.

A variety of curriculum materials will be used to help students develop their pronunciation, listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Topic and theme-based lessons will be employed in order to facilitate learners in acquiring the appropriate English skill for the corresponding situation. The lessons are dynamic and content-rich. Activities are designed to use communicative approach which means that students will be actively engaged in the learning process of a range of different practice activities.

Lessons for beginners will help them acquire the reading and vocabulary skills necessary to comprehend a beginning level text. A focus on word study and specific reading strategies will be taught. Through constant interaction with me and a multitude of texts, students will receive opportunities to communicate orally and in writing regarding their readings in class. Listening comprehension will focus on understanding explicitly stated information and speaking will focus on the expression of basic ideas. Thus, helping them communicate effectively on concrete, familiar topics.

Lessons for intermediate level students focus on range and accuracy of vocabulary, effective use of grammar and natural self-expression in English. With a focus on the 4 skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening, the english course for intermediate learners allows them to improve their English skills in a supportive environment.

Advanced level students will engage in college-level reading and writing tasks with some guidance. The goal of this course is to bolster speaking, listening, reading, writing and critical thinking so that students can succeed in academia. Students in this level will be trained to write short yet well- organized and coherent research paper with clear thesis.
