I offer lessons that are clear, focused and adapted to the individual needs of each and every student. From the outset, I take time to understand the student's current level, their academic goals, and any areas they find particularly challenging. I then create a flexible plan that provides structure while allowing room to adjust as progress is made.

Each session normally begins with a quick review of previous material to reinforce understanding. From there, we move on to the main topic, where I explain key ideas, work through examples, and guide the student through practice questions. I encourage the students to think critically and to ask questions throughout, creating an environment where they feel comfortable engaging with the subject fully.

My approach emphasises both understanding and application. For exam-focused students, I offer help with techniques as well as content - this includes timed practice, marking past paper questions, and reviewing answers to identify areas for improvement. I aim to help students not only master the material, but also gain confidence in how they express their knowledge.

Outside of lessons, I'm happy to recommend optional exercises if the student wants to continue learning independently.

I currently have one year of tutoring experience and a strong background in Economics, achieving a Grade 9 at GCSE, an A* at A Level, and currently studying it at undergraduate level at the University of Cambridge. I also achieved A*s in Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A Level, and an A in AS Level Further Maths (highest grade).

I have worked with students ranging from those looking to build confidence to those aiming for top grades. My goal is always to support students in becoming more capable, motivated and independent learners.
