My lessons are designed to be engaging, structured, and fully tailored to each student’s goals, whether that is improving school performance, building confidence in speaking, preparing for exams, or developing professional-level writing skills. I begin by understanding the student’s current level, strengths, and areas for improvement, and then create a personalised learning plan so every lesson has a clear purpose and direction.

Each session usually includes a balance of speaking, reading, writing, and targeted language practice. For younger students, I use interactive activities, short texts, and guided discussions to keep lessons enjoyable while building strong foundations in grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension. For older students and adults, I focus more on advanced vocabulary, critical thinking, structured writing, and fluent conversation using real-world topics such as current affairs, academic articles, and practical scenarios.

A key part of my teaching style is active participation. Students are encouraged to speak regularly, ask questions, and apply what they learn during the lesson rather than just listening. I provide clear explanations, examples, and instant feedback so mistakes become learning opportunities and progress is visible from week to week. I also give optional practice tasks between lessons for students who want to improve faster.

My experience includes over five years of professional-level writing, including drafting media content and press-style material, which allows me to teach not only correct English, but also effective, persuasive, and confident communication. Academically, I achieved an A* in A-Level English and I am currently studying Law at the University of Warwick, where strong written and analytical English is essential. This means I can also support students with essay writing, argument structure, and academic expression.

Overall, my lessons aim to build both skill and confidence. I want students to feel comfortable using English in school, work, and everyday life, while steadily improving accuracy, fluency, and clarity. My goal is not just to teach English, but to help students become confident, independent communicators who can succeed in any environment.
