In the first 30-40 minutes, we will work through some activities/practice questions and engage in a discussion about mathematical concepts, how they link to other academic ideas and how they can be applied in the real world. Then we will move onto practice questions, with each session having a minimum of 2 exam-style questions (this will increase as exams start to approach).
What makes tutoring so potent in my eyes is the lack of rigidity that would usually be found in school learning. My sessions will be strictly interactive - very rarely (almost never) will you sit in silence and answer questions. This is for your own time. In the sessions, we will have extensive conversations on maths to help form a deep-rooted understanding of fundamental concepts and spark fascination around the subject matter.
