SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED PRIVATE TUTOR (GSTAAD, SWITZERLAND – JANUARY-MARCH 2026)

We are seeking an exceptional and experienced children’s education tutor to home school two girls in years 5 & 6 located in Gstaad, Switzerland, for the months of January and February 2026.

This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated and professional tutor with a strong academic background and experience in home schooling and desirably, independent schools, to deliver high-quality, structured, and engaging education.

KEY DETAILS:
£8,000 per month B.O.E.
Location: Gstaad, Switzerland
Dates: January & February 2026, with potential extension into the first two weeks of March
Schedule:
Monday to Friday: averaging 7–8 hours Monday to Friday
Saturdays 3-4 hours
Flexibility is essential
Accommodation: Attractive private accommodation provided, 5-minutes walk from town and train station
Travel: Travel expenses covered

STUDENT AGE GROUPS:
Primary focus on Year 5 and Year 6 students
Experience with Year 2 students is preferred but not required

REQUIREMENTS:
Extensive experience working as a tutor or teacher in home-schooling environments (mandatory)
Teaching qualifications (PGCE & QTS), experience teaching UK Key Stage 2 curriculum, including preparation for 11+ entrance exams
Confidence in managing and differentiating lessons for multiple children across similar year groups
Familiarity with the learning environments and expectations of leading private London day schools is highly desirable
Energetic, highly organised, and professional approach
Enhanced DBS check (or international equivalent)
Excellent references from previous private families and schools
