Do mirrorless cameras have the same quality as reflex cameras?

Hello, good afternoon, I'm starting my photography studies and I'm wondering which camera to buy, reflex or mirrorless? Most people I know use reflex, but I think it's because of tradition, it's so heavy!!!!! Thanks for the help.

The quality between both is pretty much the same, I havent seen anyone critque either for being better or worse due to being mirrorless or reflex - the quality difference arises mainly from the sensor etc. So you should take into account what you are going to use it for so for example you are better going for a lighter camera if thats a key requirement.
