Maths tutor teaching GCSE level and below

I have achieved grade 9 at GCSE level mathematics as well as being predicted A*'s in both Mathematics and Further Mathematics for A-levels. By initially listening to where your child needs to improve in their Maths, I will help guide them to achieve their best potential. I have recently mentored a year 9 student in Mathematics to help change his grades from the 60% range to now the late 70% range in the space of a term and a half by building on the areas he was struggling with and at a pace that was suitable for him too. The way I did this will also be similar to how I will tutor your child. This will consist of working through multiple questions together and identifying what in particular they are struggling with, using different methods to make them understand the mathematical concept better and also, giving them practice exam questions that may be more difficult that usual so that they will be familiar with similar questions during their exams or in-class tests.
