Florencia was fantastic. She nurtured my son's live of learning and languages. She first taught him Latin (starting when he was 7) and later Spanish. Both he has kept up to A'Level and beyond and will study classics at Oxford starting in October. Technically she was excellent, made lessons really fun, followed his interests, invested in him and gave him a solid grounding that will be with him for life.

My daughter began classes with Florencia aged 8 and now studies Spanish at university. Without doubt it is Florencia who ignited her interest, nurtured her studies and developed in her a life long passion for the language. Florencia always gives 110%. She works with children, young people and adults of any age. She taught me more than I’ve ever learnt before. I cannot recommend Florencia highly enough.

I had private classes with Florencia when preparing for both GCSE and A level Spanish and her classes helped me quickly reach the level of Spanish that I needed to do really well in both of the exams in a short amount of time. Not only is she a great teacher of the language, but her passion and amazing knowledge of South American literature helped me decide to study Spanish at university where I ended up further exploring topics that she introduced to me! She goes above and beyond in the classes and not only teaches you the language with patience, but also opens your eyes to the vast cultural aspects of a language. Florencia has been teaching me Spanish for 10 years, and took my daughter through GCSE Spanish in a single year. She has a deep understanding of the language (and of others), and knows how best to help pupils navigate all the stumbling blocks of grammar they encounter. Her lessons are challenging, but also very enjoyable. She's dedicated to her students' progress.

My weekly lessons with Florencia are that of an advanced conversation level. I very much enjoy these lessons, so much so that I recommended her to my daughter who studied Spanish to degree level. Florencia’s timekeeping is excellent and the lessons are always well prepared, with varied topics which always make for interesting discussions! I would have no hesitation in recommending Florencia to anyone wishing to study Spanish, regardless of level and ability, she is an excellent tutor.

Maria Florencia taught me Spanish in a small group for several years. I am over 70 with a terrible memory, but Maria Florencia's patience and humour were boundless. At the end of a long teaching day, she had extraordinary energy, making the classes fun throughout, nurturing each student's learning individually and knowing how to bring the best out of each of us, even if we were not all at the same level. She is a passionate and gifted linguist herself, and knows how to teach methodically and firmly, very professionally, while imparting her own enthusiasm with warmth. I have heard from other students - of all ages - that she achieves great results by tailoring her teaching approach to the students' needs while making the learning process one of exchange, dialogue - and indeed communication which is the purpose of all language learning.

Florencia has taught me Spanish at intermediate level. She also tutored my son at I.B level. She is a very intelligent, professional and highly experienced teacher with a keen sense of fun. I would definitely recommend her.

As an adult who really wanted to learn Spanish but struggled with languages at school, I expected that finding the right tutor would be a real challenge, however with Florencia I struck gold! From the first lesson I knew I had found an excellent tutor, Florencia is patient and very clear in her teaching, her classes are fun but follow a structure that has seen me progress to an intermediate level at my own pace.
