Hello everyone,

I am Alonso, a qualified teacher with over 10 years of experience in education in the UK. Originally from Úbeda, Spain, I completed my teaching degree before moving to London to advance my career. I have worked across both primary and secondary education, teaching students aged 3 to 18 and supporting learners from diverse backgrounds and abilities.

In 2014, I obtained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and my DBS, and I have held leadership roles, including serving as a Spanish Subject Leader for more than five years.

Throughout my teaching career, I have observed that many language learners spend years studying grammar but still lack confidence in speaking. This inspired me to create the Spanish Survival Method, a practical and conversation-focused approach designed to help learners communicate confidently from the very first lesson.

The method focuses on:

In addition to my teaching role in London, I am now offering online Spanish lessons through the Spanish Survival Method, helping adults and beginners develop practical speaking skills in a supportive and engaging environment.
