I graduated from university in São Paulo, Brazil, with a qualification in teaching Portuguese.

The most interesting part of learning a foreign language is learning about the culture, sports, holidays, cuisine, and music. Who knows, we may then be able to risk a few steps in the samba.

However, the demand is not exceeded by courses that use advanced methodologies. Foreigners who choose to study Portuguese want to learn not only the language, but also its culture.

So many courses have included visits to museums, sightseeing tours, telephone conversations, classes during meals in restaurants in the city centre into their agenda, making it easier for students to put into practice what they learn in the classroom.

After all, the moment is propitious, as the national economy has been heating up a lot and the investments that have been made to improve sports centres, the hotel network, means of transport, airports, and several other sectors.

I do my best to come up with Portuguese lesson plans that are fun and educational for students.

I like interacting with my students in a communicative way, which means they are free to ask me questions and comments at any time. I try to make my lessons very enjoyable and simple.
