Piano lessons for students of all ages and abilities

I am an experienced piano teacher, happy to teach all ages and abilities.

A little about me: I began playing the piano at the age of three and viola at the age of six. Since graduating from the Royal Academy of Music in London, I have begun a master's in piano performance. I have extensive experience preparing for the ABRSM and Trinity exam syllabi, and can also offer tutoring towards GCSE and A-Level music performance exams.

What to expect from my lessons: My main priority as a teacher is helping you realise your musical goals. After a brief conversation to assess your current abilities and find out what you're looking for, I will create a bespoke plan for our lessons. In my lessons we will work on technical exercises and repertoire, and through study of repertoire we will learn about harmony and music history in an applied and contextualised way. I can also include aural training in each lesson, if you are interested. At the end of each lesson I will summarise the main points of the lesson and help you formulate a plan for your personal practice, as well as setting clear goals for what we will cover in the subsequent lesson.
