Hi, I'm Niki – a passionate and experienced piano teacher based in Edinburgh! I hold an ABRSM Grade 8 in piano and am currently working towards my performance diploma, continuing to grow as both a musician and teacher. My own piano journey began with a spark of inspiration — a street performance of Mariage d'Amour that moved me deeply. Since then, I've been dedicated to sharing that same love for music with my students.

In my lessons, the focus isn’t just on exams or technique — it’s about enjoying the music you play. I believe students learn best when they’re connected to the pieces they’re working on, so I tailor lessons to each individual’s tastes, goals, and pace. I'm known for being patient, kind, and attentive, and I always strive to create a warm, encouraging environment where every student can thrive.

I teach a wide range of musical genres, from classical to pop, jazz, and beyond — so students can explore the styles they love most. Whether you're preparing for ABRSM exams, competitions, or simply want to enjoy learning your favourite pieces, I’ll help you build both skill and confidence at the piano. ILessons are typically one hour long, and I tailor them to each student’s level and age. I welcome students aged 6 and up, from complete beginners to around Grade 7 level.
