Advert description
*I can also do in person lessons as well if preferred.
Subjects offered:
Clarinet
Singing
Music Theory
Composition
Scoring/Arranging/Orchestration
General Music Knowledge
Students can choose what they would like to learn from the subjects above. If you would like to pick up an instrument and need a tutor or you need some support towards your grade exams, schoolwork etc. whatever you'd like to do I am happy to accommodate.
I have not done formal teaching but have experience with informal teaching with my peers in University. I am quite an easygoing person and aim to make lessons enjoyable and informative for all my students but I can be firm when necessary in order to get students past difficulties they may have in lessons. I have a passion and real enjoyment for what I do so I hope you can experience the same passion for your subject in my teaching!
For new students, I will ask you about your experience in music and your knowledge of the subject you'd like to be taught and make goals for your progress depending on your needs.
For example if you are a singer, your goals may be something like;
Understand fundamentals of singing techniques
Become more confident with singing
Be able to read sheet music/sight sing
Enjoy learning music
