Experienced Head of Music with 10 Years teaching experience in UK Secondary Schools. Detailed understanding of GCSE, A Level and BTEC Level 2 and 3 Music courses. Clarinet lessons from beginner to Diploma level and beginner Piano lessons. History of working with SEN pupils with needs ranging from ASD to Downs Syndrome. Proven track record of pupils exceeding expectations.

My lessons are tailored to the individual needs of every pupil. I enjoy getting to know my pupils so I can understand how they can learn best whether that be through visual, verbal, practical or any other way!

I work on building confidence in my pupils so they can apply their knowledge to a variety of situations whether that be Performance or Exam based (or just for fun!).

Learning should be fun, not worrying or anxiety inducing and that is at the heart of all of my practice.
