I am Helen, a friendly and highly effective maths tutor with over a decade of teaching and tutoring experience.

I help students to:

- Achieve the best possible GCSE grades
- Develop strong conceptual mathematical understanding and practical maths skills
- Appreciate the fun, beauty and creativity in maths
- Become confident, autonomous and enthusiastic learners

- Weekly one-hour or 90-minute one-to-one lessons
- Convenient video-call lessons (Skype) using an online whiteboard
- A follow-up homework after each lesson to consolidate the learning

My qualifications and experience:

- Qualified Teacher Status
- PGCE in Secondary Maths
- 5 years' classroom teaching experience
- 6 years' tutoring experience
- Additional experience training online maths tutors for an international tutoring company
- Up-to-date DBS and Safeguarding certifications

I specialise in working with low-confidence learners who might think that they are 'not good' at maths.
