Advert description
I have a doctor of engineering degree, with extensive experience in tutoring mathematics across all secondary school levels, from Year 7 to Year 13 (KS3, GCSE, and A-Level). I possess an in-depth understanding of the expectations and assessment criteria of all major examination boards, including Edexcel, IB, AQA, MEI, and OCR. My teaching approach is results-driven, structured, and strategically adapted to the needs of each individual student, regardless of background or ability.
I focus on building strong conceptual foundations while continuously reinforcing problem-solving techniques and exam-focused strategies. Every lesson is targeted, goal-oriented, and designed to ensure measurable progress. I regularly assess student understanding, identify weaknesses, and immediately address them with clarity and precision. I challenge students to push beyond their limits while providing them with the confidence and support to do so.
The outcomes speak for themselves: the vast majority of my GCSE students have consistently achieved Grade 8 or 9, while my A-Level students have secured A or A* grades. As a direct result, they have gained admission to top-choice universities and pursued their academic interests with success.
What sets me apart as a tutor is a combination of deep subject knowledge, proven teaching methodology, high expectations, and a patient, approachable manner. I create a calm yet highly focused learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, tackle difficult topics, and master mathematics with confidence. I do not settle for confusion or mediocrity—my goal is clear: excellence in mathematics.
