Qualified maths tutor with particular focuse on SEN

I am interested in becoming a tutor the following reasons;
• A qualified maths teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience. I am currently working as an associate Assistant Headteacher in an independent Special School in Greenwich.
• Extensive experience of use of ICT in the delivery of lessons which cater for individual pupil needs.
• MA in Special Needs and Inclusive Education from the Institute of Education, University of London with particular focus in number skills development.
• Committed and passionate in helping young people to succeed. I enjoy the challenges which come with working with students whose educational needs range from poor cognitive processing skills to severe behaviour problems and poor social skills.
• Extensive teaching experience in the following Key Stages;
- Key stage 2: Year 6
- Entrance Exams 11+ and 13+
- Key Stage 3 and 4 including GCSE at Foundation and Higher tiers
• Wider role involving curriculum provision and appraisal with particular focus on teaching resources which address a range of pupils’ needs.
I have worked with students from a wide variety of educational needs helping them make significant progress within a short space of time as attested by parents and carers of present and past students;
